The GEODNET Weather Station is a powerful GNSS base station designed to provide highly accurate RTK correction data and space weather insights. By connecting to the GEODNET network, it enhances GPS positioning with centimeter-level precision, making it 100 times more accurate than standard GPS. Equipped with a triple-band receiver, it collects data from the L1, L2, and L5 frequencies across all major global satellite constellations, including GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou. This enables precise navigation and environmental monitoring, supporting a wide range of applications from autonomous systems to scientific research.
This advanced weather station continuously uploads space weather and GNSS correction data via a secure WiFi connection, ensuring seamless integration with the decentralized GEODNET network. With over 1000 tracking channels, it captures real-time signals to correct GPS errors caused by satellite disruptions and atmospheric conditions, such as solar storms. The built-in NTRIP server functionality allows the device to act as a reliable RTK base station, providing highly accurate location data for any compatible system within a 20-40 km range.
