MGW310 Multi-Platform Station

The MGW310 is a dual-miner device, combining the functions of both a “Flight Tracking Station” and a “Triple-Band GNSS Base Station”. As the big brother to the WB200 and GEODNET Weather Station, it contributes real-time flight data to the Wingbits network and highly accurate positioning data to the GEODNET network. Users join both networks and earn $Wingbits and $GEOD tokens.

Wingbits

IMPORTANT
To take full advantage of this device, to claim $Wingbit tokens, you need to take the following actions. Please note; this does not apply to GEODNET, only to Wingbits.

1. First, see if you can secure a good location (hex) at app.wingbits.com/map.
2. If you have a location in mind that is still available, you can either (a) reserve it directly for a 6-hour period at app.wingbits.com or (b) purchase an MGW310 and reserve AND confirm immediately.
3. Once you have purchased an MGW310, you will receive a code from us.
4. You then again go to app.wingbits.com and here you reserve a location (hex) if you have not already done so. Then you confirm your location with the code, securing your hex for 6 months.

Where GEODNET allows multiple miners per location, Wingbits allows only ONE device per location (Res 6 hex), which means that if your location is already occupied, you cannot earn $Wingbit tokens in that area. In short, if you want to take full advantage of this miner, make sure you have a location that does not already have a Wingbits miner. More information on this can be found here and here.
